What We Do | Funding and Awards |

The Schwab and Westheimer Trusts provide educational funding in the form of grants to young asylum seekers and refugees where alternative sources of funding are inadequate. Awards do not normally exceed £2000. These awards are discretionary and the amount of funding given to an application will depend upon the assistance required. Previous funding has included assistance towards course fees, English tuition, computers, childcare, and transport. The trusts also support the educational development of young asylum seekers and refugees by holding award events to recognise achievement and encourage effort. The trusts work in partnership with similar organisations. |
